FEAP 5A- Designs purposeful professional goals to strengthen the effectiveness of instruction based on students’ needs

In my lesson plans I have reflected on my previous experience as well as reflecting on the students in the classroom to create effective and engaging lessons. With being in first grade this year, I understand these students need more transitional activities to stay engaged and focused. These students also love participating and doing hands-on work, so I have constructed my lesson plans to do that.

I have also adapted my lessons and plans to fit the students' needs. I have put special differentiations in my lessons for students who may need

extra support or varied instructions.

In one of my lessons, I had a plan for students to work on a problem on their own. After having students go to their desks and work on the problem, I noticed that the students were not understanding and needed additional support. I had the students come back and we worked on the problem together.
